83% of e-cigarette users in Europe have quit smoking completely. A majority had been smoking for over 10 years. This is according to the EU nicotine users survey 2020.
"It is important that our new Minister of Social Affairs clarifies the Parliament's decision: Tobacco and nicotine policy should be characterised by an evidence-based harm minimisation perspective." says Karl-Åke Johansson, chairman of the user organisation NNA Sweden.
